Gloucester City Firefighters at Work

Gloucester City operates three engines, one truck, two BLS ambulances, a command vehicle  a marine unit and special operations that includes a hazardous materials response vehicle and rescue.  

Fire Apparatus

Gloucester City Firefighters participate in regular training programs.  In addition, some members are attached to the USRA team which is a specialized unit prepared to respond to major incidents anywhere in the County.

Gloucester City Firefighters respond to many types of emergencies including medical calls, Hazardous Material Incidents and other areas of Special Operations.

There are three fire stations in Gloucester City.  Two are staffed by volunteers  and one is staffed with career Firefighters on duty 24/7 at Fire Headquarters.
